The primary shut for all AIFs if 12 months from SEBI taking PPM (Non-public Placement Memorandum) on file and giving their consent for it. Even within the case of open ended Cat 3 AIF, the preliminary supply interval can also be 12 months. And if the primary shut doesn’t occur in 12 months, then the PPM has to filed once more with SEBI for feedback, together with reimbursement of charges.
