Crude oil for October supply was up 0.37% or 0.28 to $76.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in November rose 0.38% or 0.30 to hit $79.12 a barrel, whereas the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 13.25 to commerce at $2,547.05 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.28% to 31.98, whereas TWD/CNY unchanged 0.40% to 0.22.
The US Greenback Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.31.
