Mexico’s Walmex expects final ruling from antitrust watchdog soon By Reuters

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s Walmex, the native unit of retailer Walmart (NYSE:), expects antitrust watchdog Cofece to quickly announce its ultimate ruling stemming from a probe into alleged anti-competitive practices, a senior government stated on Tuesday.

“It can most likely occur in just some days or perhaps weeks,” Javier Trevino, a Walmex senior vp, instructed reporters throughout a press convention.
