Government removes mandatory registration for certain items under chip imports monitoring system

The federal government has eliminated necessary registration of sure digital built-in circuits beneath the chip import monitoring system.

Beneath the system, importers of these things must present advance data in a web-based system for import and procure a registration quantity by paying a certain quantity of registration payment.

“The requirement of obligatory registration beneath chip imports monitoring system has been discontinued with quick impact,” in line with a notification of the directorate basic of international commerce (DGFT).

The gadgets included digital built-in circuits, recollections and amplifiers.
