Agro-chemicals agency Coromandel Worldwide on Wednesday introduced the acquisition of an extra 8.82 per cent fairness stake in Senegal-based rock phosphate mining firm BMCC by its wholly-owned subsidiary.
With this, the corporate’s general shareholding in Baobab Mining and Chemical substances Company (BMCC) will enhance to 53.8 per cent.
“Coromandel will make investments $3.84 million (Rs 32 core) in BMCC, apart from a mortgage infusion of $6.5 million (Rs 54 crore) to fund enlargement tasks and meet working capital necessities,” Coromandel Worldwide stated in an announcement.
